Three Houses Spring
Three Houses Spring is a natural freshwater spring It is part of the Tree Houses Park located in the south-east side of Barbados. This green, tranquil spot is a popular picnic spot for locals and visitors alike for its serene environment.



The spring flows naturally through the park, creating a cool stream that meanders amidst lush greenery. While the water is not suitable for drinking, it offers a refreshing spot for some to bathe, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.



The park itself is a popular destination for picnics and family outings. With ample shade provided by large trees and facilities like picnic tables and a children's playground, it's an ideal spot for leisure. The park also offers picturesque views of Barbados's southeastern coastline, making it a favorite for both relaxation and photography.



Historically, the area around Three Houses Spring was significant to the indigenous peoples of Barbados, who settled near such water sources. Over the years, the spring served various purposes, including as a communal laundry spot for local residents. In 1990, efforts by the St. Mark’s Old Scholar’s Association led to the transformation of the area into the park known today.
