ORTHORHYNCUS CRISTATUS
The Antillean Crested Hummingbird is another species of hummingbird widely distributed in the Caribbean. It is smaller than the Green-Throated Carib and have a short beak. The Antillean Crested Hum- mingbird is one of the few hummingbirds with a crest.
Their natural habitats are subtropical or tropical forests and woodlands. They feed on nectar from a variety of flowers and also on small arthropods. They build a cup nest in a tree or sometimes on a branch in vegetation.
