The Current Clearwing is a moth of the family Sesiidae. The Sallow Clearwing is a small moth The Sesiidae or clearwing moths are a diurnal moth family in the order Lepidoptera known for their Batesian mimicry in both appearance and behaviour of various Hymenoptera. They can be found in damp places.

IDENTIFICATION: The antennae are black and yellow dusty on the under side. The black thorax has lateral yellow stripes. This clearwing is small and black
with a yellow collar and two yellow lines along the thorax which are absent on the similar Sallow Clearwing. Females have three and males have four thin yellow lines.
