PIEZODORUS GUILDINII
The Red Banded Stink Bug is a species of insect from the family Pentatomidae. They are commonly known as the Alfalfa Bug and feeds on the seeds of legumes such as soybeans and alfalfa. The Red Banded Stink Bug gives off a foul-smelling fluid from large glands underneath their body, when disturbed.

IDENTIFICATION: Around 8 to 10 mm long. Light green in colour with white highlights that tend to yellow at the end of their life cycle. The head is small and triangular with brownish antennae. Pronotum has a horizontal band of reddish brown on the posterior margin.
