Veronicella Sloanii
The Pancake Slug (Veronicella sloanii), also known as the leatherleaf slug.
Appearance: These are air-breathing land slugs that can grow up to 12 cm. Their color varies from white to grey.
Habitat and Distribution: The pancake slug is native to Jamaica but has been introduced to other countries, including Barbados, Bermuda, the Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and Cuba, where it is sometimes considered a pest.
Behavior: It is a nocturnal species that hides under rocks or bark during the day and emerges at night.
