The Mexican primrose-willow (Ludwigia octovalvis), a species of flowering plant in the evening primrose family.

It is an erect, much-branched perennial herb that can grow up to 150 cm high.

The plant is characterized by its bright yellow, four-petaled flowers and lance-shaped leaves.

Its native distribution is unclear, but it is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions globally. It typically grows in marshes, disturbed areas, and other wetlands.
