Trigoniulus Corallinus
Trigoniulus corallinus, also known as the red or rusty millipede or scarlet millipede, is a non-venomous arthropod native to Southeast Asia that was likely introduced through ports of entry via imported goods like soil or plants.

It is a reddish-brown to brick-red millipede, often with pale black bands on the sides. Juveniles can appear more pinkish. It can grow to about 5-8 cm in length (about 2 to 3 inches). It is a beneficial detritivore that feeds on decaying plant matter, inhabiting moist areas like forest floors, leaf litter, and compost heaps.

When threatened, it releases an irritating, foul-smelling liquid from its side glands to deter predators. While not a major agricultural pest, it can cause damage to roots in large numbers and irritates skin if handled directly due to a defensive fluid it releases. The abundant numbers can be a nuisance in homes and gardens.
