Eratigena duellica
The Giant House Spider, scientifically known as Eratigena duellica. These spiders have a body with earthy tones of brown, muddy-red, or yellow. They have conspicuously hairy legs, palps, and abdomen. The abdomen often features a lighter middle line with six spots on each side.

Females can have a body length of up to 18 mm, while males are slightly smaller at around 12 mm to 15 mm. The leg span can be considerably larger.

These spiders are often found in dark corners, sheds, and gardens, but they may enter homes to find a dry place to mate.
