The Hawk-Wing Conch is a
sea snail in the family Strom
bidae.
IDENTIFICATION: The shell
is robust, thick and solid The
body whorl consists of coarse
spiral ridges. There is a thick
flaring outer lip that is al
ways lower than the spire
and there is a distinct strom
boid notch.The color is cream
to brownish, with several
dispersed white spots. Both
inner and outer lips are cream
or white.
