NATICA TEDBAYERI
The Florida Moonshell is a sea
snail in the family Naticidae.

IDENTIFICATION: The shell is
thin-walled and globose, with
a short flattened spire and
large body whorl. The back
ground color is white, with
alternating reddish brown to
orange bands. The aperture
is wide and white in colour.
The operculum is semi-cir
cular with numerous strong
grooves.
