The Morrocan Moon Snail
is a sea snail in the family
Naticidae.


IDENTIFICATION: The shell
is thin-walled and globose,
with a short pointed spire
and large body whorl. The
background color is light to
chestnut brown, with lighter
colour alternating bands. The
aperture is wide and cream
in colour. The operculum is
semi-circular with numerous
strong grooves.
