The Milk Moon Snail is a pred
atory sea snail in the family
Naticidae.

IDENTIFICATION: The shell
is thin-walled, smooth and
glossy. It is globular in shape,
with a short flattened spire
and large body whorl. The
base colour is milky white to
opaque. The aperture is wide
and white in colour. The oper
culum is semi-circular with
numerous strong grooves.
