Granular Frog shell
DULCERANA GRANULARIS
The Granular Frog shell is a sea
snail in the family Bursidae.
IDENTIFICATION: The shell is
thick and slightly flattened,
with 6-7 shell whorls with two
large ridges on opposite sides.
It is sculptured with spiral lines
of beads. The aperture is white
and wide with teeth on both
inner and outer lips. The siphonal canal is short. The colour
is yellow-brown with bands of
various shades.
