What do frogs eat?Almost all frogs are carnivorous and eat other animals. Tadpoles tend to eat smaller and softer foods, like algae and plants, worms and larvae and insects. When they grow up, most frogs like to continue snacking on invertebrates like larger insects, flies, moths, spiders, slugs, and worms. Some bigger frogs, though, like bullfrogs and cane toads, are so hefty that they can even eat mice, fish, birds and other amphibians. Go Back |
