Introducing the latest project from the Barbados Field Guide, Seashells of Barbados. This compendium of seashells features photographs and information of specimens from Barbados, collected over the course of 35 years.

Seashells are an often-overlooked wonders, that surround us in the natural world. In the past, humans have always been fascinated with sea shells. They have been collected, used for tools, art and jewelry. Most people who have been to the beach, even if just on the shore or in the water, have probably seen or picked up a shell or two. This book can be used to identify and learn more about Conchology (study or collection of molluscs and shells). All specimens in this book are commonly found in Barbados and throughout the Caribbean Sea.

The digital version of this book is available to read for free online here on this website. The printed version will be available to purchase on demand soon. Viewers can also view Barbados seashell specimens in the SEASHELL CATEGORY of the Barbados Field Guide.
