Sitticus Jumping Spider
Sitticus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family, which includes Jumping Spiders. These spiders are curious and interesting spiders. They usually wander through trees and plants looking for insects or other prey. This spider is usually found around human habitations, sometimes under stones and sometimes in houses or in more open environments. Jumping spiders do not build webs.
IDENTIFICATION: This species is small, around 5mm long. They have a large
and quite angular head and a hairy body with patterns of brown, black and light gray colours.
