What are Spiders?

Spiders belong to a group of animals called Arachnids. All spiders have eight legs, with two body segments consisting of a fused head and thorax, and a rounded abdomen. They also have fangs that inject poison into their prey. Most Arachnid species spin webs in order to capture insects. They have no wings or antennae and are not able to chew.
